The paths designated are those which are already well-used and well-known. They all have green and white ‘Right of Way’ signage at either end and appear in a variety of leaflets and books about the Cairngorms. In the Outdoor Access Strategy there is a presumption against waymarking in wild, remote and mountainous terrain and there would be no further signposting or waymarking of these paths as a result of core path designation.
